McDaniels -McDaniel

The names McDaniel and McDaniels in Ireland are sometimes used as variants of the native Gaelic MacDomhnaill Septs that more often anglicized their name to MacDonnell. These names were also brought to the Province of Ulster by settlers from Scotland, especially during the seventeenth century.
