Gifford
The names Gifford and MacGiford in Ireland are usually of immigrant origin having been introduced into the Province of Ulster by settlers who arrived from England and Scotland during the seventeenth century. It is in the Northern Counties as well as in County Dublin that the majority of descendants can still today be found.
